What is coworking?

Coworking at co.co.haus is a flexible workspace where empresarios, freelancers, and remote teams work independently while being part of a vibrant, comunidad creativa. It’s more than just a desk, es un lugar para conectar, share ideas, and grow alongside other people building cool shit.

Where are you located?

We’re centrally located in the heart of of Santurce, at the iconic Cobian’s Plaza Building. Walking distance from nearby Condado, Miramar, and Old San Juan neighborhoods, Santurce is the center of arte, cultura and the foodie scene in San Juan. You’ll find plenty of nearby cafes, shops, and cultural spots.

Can I bring my bike, scooter, or skateboard?

We love it when our members can keep it green instead of driving! There is a bike rack in front of the building on Ave. Ponce de Leon.

Where can I park? How much is parking?

Cobian’s Plaza has an underground parking garage. You may pay hourly or monthly. Entrance to the Garage is behind the building on San Mateo St, parallel to Ponce de Leon Ave.

  • Hourly parking: M-F 6am-8pm; Sat 7am-1pm. All day $6 +tax.
  • Monthly: 24/7 access $90 per month
  • There’s always the lucky spot on the street.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hot desks, dedicated desks, and private office members have 24/7 access to the space. Members have access even on holidays, but unfortunately we can’t accommodate non-members during staffless days.

Can I split a membership with someone else?

Our memberships are designed for just one person, however we offer additional teammate memberships at a discounted rate. Private office prices are based on a specific number of members depending on the size, additional members may be added at an additional cost. 

Can you accommodate my diet restrictions and allergies?

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions we might need to know about. We will do our best to make the office safe for you, but we cannot guarantee compliance or control the actions of all members and guests, so please take necessary precautions. At co.co.haus, we do our best to include options for everyone when selecting food for member events and co.co.hours! Feel free to make suggestions or requests to our staff.

Do you offer Virtual Office or Mail Services?

Yes! Starting with co.necta BASIC you can use our address as your business address. For mail management you must get co.necta PRO and above. The co.necta PRO membership includes 2 day passes and $100 in meeting room credits per month. The co.necta PREMIUM membership includes 5 day passes and $150 in meeting room credits per month.

Do you offer Use Permit for companies?

With any co.co.haus membership you can request a package of documents required for the pre-consulta de uso. This is a permit offered by the Municipality of San Juan that allows you to work under our Use Permit. It’s designed for companies working out of a coworking space. If requested, this package is offered after completing orientation.

Do you offer storage space?

We have lockers available for $10 a month. Dedicated desks and private offices include file cabinets.

How fast is your internet connection?

We have fiber connection with a wireless internet capability of up to 2000/1000 mbps. Actual speed may vary slightly depending on the amount of use at any given time. If you feel the internet speed is impeding your ability to work efficiently, please alert team.co.co. for troubleshooting.

We can arrange for extra speed if you have a membership in one of our offices with ethernet ports at an additional cost.

Do you offer 24/7 access to the space?

Yes, memberships starting at the co.cina level have 24/7 access. Our four virtual memberships use day passes to access the space within our operating hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

How is noise controlled in the open area? Do you have phone booths?

We have 5 phone booths members can use for 2 hours at a time. There’s a sign-up sheet on the table adjacent to the booths. Analog works better sometimes!

A certain level of background noise in the office is healthy and aids in productivity and collaboration. Dead silence is not required or expected; we are not a library. You are welcome to converse at a reasonable noise level. 

If you need to make or answer a phone call, we ask that you step into one of our designated phone booths out of respect for other members. 

Please also use a phone booth, conference room, or headphones, for videos, music, or video chats. Just be considerate of others.

Do you have printers? Can I bring my own printer?

All membership options have access to printing. Pricing is $.15 per B&W page and $.35 per color page. A minimum of $5.00 will be charged to non-members requesting printing. 

Private Office members may bring their own printers into the office.

What are some good places for lunch nearby?

Santurce is packed with some of the best food on the island! There are various food places nearby, here are some to name a few:

When can I start? Should I wait till the 1st of the month?

You can start on any day, our memberships are prorated on the second payment so you can start whichever day you prefer.
